Job Overview Join our family as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver with Grizzard Trucking LLC and take on the exciting challenge of delivering freight across diverse routes! Tyler Grizzard - 256-843-9211 Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks across assigned routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight. No touch freight. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, optimizing delivery schedules while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and deliveries in compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license. Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks with a strong understanding of truck systems and safety procedures. Proficient in route planning using GPS navigation tools for efficient delivery scheduling. Pass a drug screen. Good MVR, & be able to scan in loads through email & Genius Scan. Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations governing commercial trucking operations. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with route driving preferred.
