Job Description

Our company is looking for a dependable, hardworking driver. Job duties include, but are not limited to completing a daily route, delivering/picking up dumpsters as needed, and doing any truck maintenance necessary. Minor truck repairs may also be occasionally needed, but since we keep newer equipment, the repairs stay to a minimum. Drivers are expected to arrive at the shop yard by 6:15am to perform pre trip inspections on their truck, resolve issues if there are any, fuel up as needed, and start the route for the day by approximately 7:00am. Routes consist of a mix of residential customers that use bags or trash cans, and commercial customers that utilize dumpsters whose garbage needs to be picked up. Each of the 5 routes throughout the week are different, however, Monday routes are the same each week, Tuesday routes are the same each week, etc. Routing packets with a list of customers are sent out from the office each day to follow and notate any issues with customer stops. Once the job duties for the day are complete, then employees are free to leave. So the actual time may vary some from day to day, but it still averages no more than 40 hours per week. A CDL that is at least a class B, a clean driving record, and a current DOT health card, are required. Experience is always a plus, but not necessary. Pay starts at $150 per day depending on experience, and we do have to withhold taxes. The position is full time, only Monday thru Friday, except following a holiday. There are up to 6 paid holidays, PTO is earned (up to 1 day per month), and a cell phone can be provided. Apply thru indeed or in person.
