Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Waste Front-end Loader Driver, where your expertise in commercial truck driving and waste management will drive impactful results. In this role, you will operate various heavy-duty trucks and front-end loaders to efficiently collect, transport, and manage waste materials in the Ashley County / Chicot County areas. Your dedication to safety, customer service, and environmental responsibility will help keep communities clean and operations running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to operate almost as your own boss. You will perform a daily set route 5 days a week. We will provide paid training for learning the route and how to operate the front-end loader truck (if applicable). Duties Safely operate front loader trucks, and unload waste materials according to established routes and schedules Unload waste containers with precision using front-end loaders and other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols Drive commercial trucks in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation), state transportation regulations, and hazardous materials regulations when applicable Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and report any maintenance needs promptly Follow traffic laws diligently during route driving, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during waste collection activities Requirements Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Preferred) Experience operating heavy-duty trucks such as front loaders, rear loaders, roll-off trucks, or dump trucks in municipal or solid waste management settings Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and state transportation regulations governing commercial driving Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshooting mechanical issues Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent driving skills with a focus on defensive driving techniques to ensure safety at all times Familiarity with safety protocol adherence related to solid waste management operations Customer service orientation with professional communication skills Prior delivery driver experience or route driving background preferred Join us in making a difference through responsible waste management!
