Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Equipment Delivery Driver with a valid CDL license to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting a variety of construction equipment. Your expertise in truck driving and equipment handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This is a local Hot Springs work from a store position. M-F home every night. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with auto transmissions across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload construction efficiently ensuring proper securing of cargo like skid steers, excavators and lifts. Inspect vehicles daily for maintenance needs or safety issues; report any concerns promptly to maintenance teams. Plan optimal routes to maximize efficiency while ensuring compliance with delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatcher and customers regarding delivery times, load specifics, and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and load documentation in accordance with company policies. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements for operating tractor-trailers. Proven experience in truck driving and delivery operations, preferably with experience handling freight involving flatbeds. Proficiency in manual and auto transmission vehicle operation and familiarity with various truck types including dump trucks and forklift operation is highly desirable. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to load securement, vehicle inspection, and transportation regulations. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment; experience with forklift operation is a plus. Excellent route planning skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving during deliveries. Physical ability to lift heavy loads when necessary and perform routine vehicle inspections.
