Position Summary:
Transport agriculture and construction equipment safely and efficiently between company facilities, customer locations, and vendor sites while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and pick up equipment, ensuring cargo is secured using chains, binders, blocks, and straps. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including brakes, lights, mirrors, tires, steering, and other critical components. Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed. Maintain equipment quality and inspect trailers before and after loading. Follow all traffic safety regulations and exercise caution in difficult conditions. Communicate unsafe vehicle or road conditions to management promptly. Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers, vendors, and coworkers. Ensure vehicles are fueled and well-maintained, including monitoring supplies such as oil, water, and tires. Adhere to DOT regulations and submit all required documentation accurately. Obtain oversize load credentials when necessary. Report vehicle issues immediately for urgent attention. Perform all job functions safely and competently. Flexibility to work weekends and after hours as required. Perform any additional duties assigned by management. High school diploma or GED. Valid Class A CDL license. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CDL driver with a clean safety and legal record. Strong maturity and ability to manage the demands of the job effectively. Good physical and emotional health to safely perform all duties. Commitment to delivering company products safely, efficiently, and on time. Ability to operate heavy machinery, including forklifts. Proof of valid driver's license and an approved Motor Vehicle Record. Capability to perform all job duties independently. Willingness and ability to install and use the company communication application on a personal cellular device.
