Job Description

CDL Class A Driver - Lumber Yard & DeliveryRole Overview We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Driver to handle local and regional deliveries of lumber and building materials. You will be responsible for transporting heavy loads, securing diverse cargo, and ensuring safe unloading at customer job sites.

Key Responsibilities Safe Transport :

Operate tractor-trailers or heavy-duty flatbeds.

Load Securing :

Use straps, chains, and binders.

Job Site Delivery :

Navigate tight residential and commercial sites.

Material Handling :

Operate truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett) or loaders.

Compliance :

Maintain accurate logs and inspections.

Required Qualifications Licensing :

Valid Class A CDL with clean record.

Experience :

Minimum 2 years of professional driving.

Technical Skill :

Proven experience securing flatbed loads.

Physical Ability :

Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Certifications :

Current DOT Medical Card required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Home daily Medical and Dental Insurance. Paid time off

Pay:

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
