Responsibilities Operate company tractor-trailer on a dedicated local route hauling refrigerated and live poultry loads Conduct safe, compliant vehicle inspections and follow all DOT and company safety regulations Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries to regional poultry facilities and customers Secure and monitor temperature-controlled and live loads according to company standards Communicate with dispatch and operations for routing, scheduling, and issue resolution Maintain accurate logs, trip paperwork, and electronic documentation Provide professional, courteous customer service at all delivery and pickup locations Care for and report on equipment condition, noting maintenance needs promptly Required Skills CDL Class A driving Defensive driving and safety compliance DOT regulations and HOS knowledge Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Backing and maneuvering in tight spaces Refrigerated trailer operation Load securement Electronic logging devices (ELDs) Time management and scheduling Basic customer service
