Job Description

This is a full-time hourly position averaging $85,000 annually , plus safety and attendance bonus opportunities. Work schedule will be Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed. This position reports directly to Director of Logistics. Job duties and work hours are subject to change based upon load assignments. This is a drug-free workplace.
WORK PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION
Operate Manual 10 Speed/13 Speed Transmission or Operate F350 pickup with car hauler trailer Required to maintain 70 hr./8-day DOT Logs (Electronic) Ability to manage time and be efficient in loads per dispatch assignment Perform daily
DOT/DVIR
Pre & Post Trip Inspections of Truck and Trailer. Ability to hook/unhook equipment (Dry Van, Flat bed, Dumps - side or end, steel high/low side, and roll off boxes - experience preferable) Ability to safely secure cargo (tarp, strap, chain, climb 6 ft. ladder, etc.) Ability to lift 50 lbs. Pickup and delivery of scrap metal Ability to communicate in professional manner with customers at pick up/delivery of materials. Follow all safety rules of the TSIMCO facility and customer's facility. Follow instructions of crew leaders of the department. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance. Compliance with Employee Handbook. All other duties assigned. (When loads are not available, work may be assigned in warehouse.) 2-year Class A CDL, with 2 year verifying CDL driving experience Updated Medical Card Updated DOT Physical Pass DOT Drug Screen Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment - Steel Toed Boots, Hard hat,
Vest and Safety Glasses Pay:
$80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
