Overview:

This is a small family business. We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver/Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving, delivery, pick up and operating various types of vehicles including box and dump trucks. The weekly pay varies and will continue to increase with raises. Daily light duty mechanic work.

Duties:

• Safely operate trucks to transport waste to landfill
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
• Follow traffic laws and regulations while ensuring timely deliveries
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with a clean driving record
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts is a plus
• Proficient in route planning and navigation
• Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented approach
