We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Tow Truck Operator to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a professional operator who already understands the responsibilities of safely operating heavy wreckers, working accident scenes, and representing a respected company in front of customers, law enforcement, and first responders. This position offers highly competitive compensation for qualified operators who take pride in their work. Responsibilities Operate heavy-duty wreckers and recovery equipment safely and professionally. Respond to accident recoveries, tractor-trailer breakdowns, recoveries, and equipment transport assignments. Perform winching, uprighting, air cushion recoveries, load shifts, and other recovery operations as required. Operate a rotator during recoveries (rotator experience preferred). Complete electronic documentation, photos, inspections, and required paperwork. Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain assigned equipment. Work closely with dispatch, law enforcement, fire departments, roadside assistance providers, and commercial customers. Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest level of safety and professionalism. Minimum Qualifications Minimum two (2) years of verifiable heavy-duty towing experience is required. Rotator experience is strongly preferred. Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements. Current DOT Medical Card. Clean five-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Ability to pass a DOT drug screening. Ability to pass a background check. Strong knowledge of heavy-duty towing and recovery procedures. Ability to safely secure and transport commercial vehicles and equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
