Job Description

The USSOCOM Parachute Training and Testing Facility is a specialized military site located at Pinal Airpark in Marana, Arizona. Established around 1992, it supports elite units like Navy SEALs and Army Green Berets for advanced military free-fall (MFF) training, parachute system testing, and operational readiness Fuel Distribution System Operator (FDSO), Aircraft Refueler The Fuel Distribution System Operator (FDSO) will operate Maytag's Deployable Fuel System (DFS) and operate Fuel Trucks at Pinal Park, Arizona. The FDSO will manage all fuel receipt, issue, quality surveillance, spill prevention, preventive maintenance scheduling, and fuel accountability functions required for day-to-day operations.
Key position qualifications include:
Minimum 1-year experience in operating fuel bulk storage and distribution systems and into plane refueling Capable of receipt, issue, storage, spill cleanup, preventive maintenance scheduling, hazardous waste handling, and quality surveillance Ability to perform quantity calculations from gauge and temperature readings Certified hazardous waste handler per applicable Federal, State, and local requirements Able to obtain and maintain a Government Position of Trust Valid CDL/Hazmat endorsed driver's license; able to lift minimum 50 lbs; available for weekend/holiday/after-hours support as required Fuel Truck Operations FDSO/Fuel Truck Operators will operate both the Maytag DFS system (receiving and storing bulk fuel) and 500-gallon fuel trucks for direct into-wing refueling of aircraft. Operators must meet all into-plane fuel handling experience requirements in addition to DFS system operating qualifications.
