We are a dedicated home care agency serving clients across Pima County . We are looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to clients in our community. You will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life in their own homes. Our mission is to connect compassionate caregivers with clients who need quality, reliable support.
Pay:
$16.00 - $21.00 per hour, based upon knowledge, skills, abilities and experience. Paid weekly. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide personal care including assistance with mobility and transferring using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and tidying of the home. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Support clients with memory care, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia, through patient observation and tailored activities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Qualifications Previous experience in home health, senior care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of first aid, CPR, HIPAA regulations, and patient monitoring techniques is essential. Familiarity with caregiving tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, and cleaning duties. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Experience working with people with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting when required and assist clients in physical mobility tasks. A compassionate nature combined with patience and understanding towards clients' needs is crucial for success in this role.
