Job Summary The CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport materials, equipment, or products to various job sites or customer locations. This role requires a valid CDL license, strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations, and the ability to manage schedules, vehicle inspections, and cargo handling. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering materials safely and on time. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles including dump trucks, flatbeds, box trucks, or other company vehicles. Transport materials, equipment, or products to job sites, warehouses, or customer locations. Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to schedules. Load and unload materials safely using manual labor, forklifts, or other equipment. Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport. Inspect deliveries upon arrival and report any discrepancies or damages. Maintain records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and trip logs. Qualifications Valid CDL (Class A or B depending on vehicle type). Clean driving record with no major violations. Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe vehicle operation. Preferred Experience with dump trucks, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized construction/landscaping vehicles. Forklift certification or experience loading/unloading heavy equipment. GPS and route planning experience. Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs and troubleshooting. Pay:
