About Us Desert Service Pros is a local, owner-run company that keeps HOA communities and commercial properties across the Valley clean and well maintained. We're growing, and we're looking for a hands-on leader to run our day-to-day field operations so our owners can focus on bringing in new business. About the Role This is a working manager position. You'll still spend part of your week in the truck, but your main job is keeping our crews, trucks, and customers running smoothly. You'll supervise our night sweeping drivers, handle scheduling and customer needs, and keep our equipment on the road. What You'll Do Run daytime HOA sweeping routes (about 8-16 hours per week, spread across your shifts) Maintain trucks and equipment in our shop, and coordinate repairs when needed Build and adjust route schedules for our night crew Meet drivers at the start of their shifts to hand off routes and check out trucks Handle customer questions and complaints, and follow up until issues are resolved Perform property checks and visit new properties for walkthroughs and estimates Be available by phone for driver questions after you leave the shop (see schedule below) Help improve our route sheets, checklists, and systems as we grow Schedule Wednesday through Sunday, generally about 1:00-9:00 PM on-site Monday and Tuesday off, every week, with no phone coverage After leaving the shop, you'll be reachable by phone for night crew issues. A lead driver handles routine questions first, so calls to you are for real problems like breakdowns or access issues. All time spent on calls is paid. During the hottest summer months, daytime sweeps may shift to early morning hours for safety. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience leading a crew or supervising field work (landscaping, sweeping, pressure washing, fleet, delivery, or similar) Comfortable handling customers and solving problems on your own Must be 21 or older (insurance requirement) Valid Arizona driver's license and a clean driving record Able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors year-round Organized, reliable, and comfortable with a phone and basic scheduling apps Nice to Have (We'll Train You) Parking lot sweeper experience Line striping experience Mechanical or truck maintenance skills Experience estimating or bidding jobs What We Offer From day one: $25-$30/hr DOE, plus overtime Paid on-call time Monday and Tuesday off every week Paid sick time Company phone or stipend A clear path to grow into a General Manager role as the company grows Possible after 90 days (based on performance; not guaranteed): Performance bonus tied to growing the business Take-home vehicle $200/month health insurance stipend Paid vacation: 1 week, increasing to 2 weeks after one year How to Apply Click "Apply."
