Job Description
Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, seeks a Sales and Service Route Driver to manage scheduled customer routes, deliver products, and collect used oil and waste materials. This role combines CDL driving, hands-on service, and account support for industrial, automotive, and commercial clients. You'll safely load/unload materials, complete regulatory paperwork, and promote additional services while upholding strict safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities Drive a Class B CDL truck on scheduled service routes to industrial, automotive, and commercial customers Pick up used oil, waste materials, and related products in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations Deliver new products, parts-cleaning supplies, and service materials to customer sites Complete all required manifests, logs, and regulatory paperwork accurately and on time Perform basic inspections of vehicle and equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly Promote and upsell Safety-Kleen services and products to existing route customers Maintain strong customer relationships through professional, reliable, and responsive service Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental compliance standards Coordinate daily schedule, routing, and service priorities with dispatch and operations staff Participate in ongoing safety, compliance, and technical training programs Required Skills Route planning CDL truck operation Customer service Time management Safety and OSHA compliance Hazardous materials handling Defensive driving Basic mechanical aptitude Recordkeeping and documentation Environmental regulations awareness
