Multi stop deliveries are the norm The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. Minimum 2 years driving bobtail required Duties Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery receipts. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist in the maintenance of the truck by performing routine checks and reporting any mechanical issues. Experience Proven experience as a Class C bobtail driver preferred. Familiarity with regional residential and assembly services is preferred. Overtime will be required. Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures for various types of freight. Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving.
