Job Description

Class A Driver / Equipment Operator Crider Construction is looking for a dependable Class A driver and equipment operator who enjoys a variety of work and is willing to pitch in wherever needed. We run dump trucks, excavators, skid steers, and water trucks. Some days you'll be driving or operating equipment. Other days you'll be working alongside the crew on roustabout projects, maintenance, repairs, and general construction. Hands-on crew work is a regular part of this position. We're looking for someone who thinks through a job, takes care of equipment, and can help figure things out when the work doesn't go exactly as planned. You should be comfortable taking direction, working with others, and handling different tasks throughout the day.
What the work involves:
Driving dump trucks and water trucks, and hauling equipment. Operating excavators and skid steers safely and efficiently. Helping the crew with piping, repairs, cleanup, and other hands-on work. Performing daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Paying attention to the job, spotting problems, and asking questions when something isn't clear. What we're looking for: A valid Class A CDL and a good driving record. Experience operating heavy equipment. Willingness and ability to get out of the cab and work alongside the crew. Good judgment, mechanical aptitude, and practical problem-solving skills. Someone who shows up reliably, takes pride in their work, and treats people and equipment with respect. Crane operator certification is a plus. We're also interested in someone willing to take the course and work toward certification. The right person is a capable, thoughtful all-around hand who likes variety, is willing to learn, and helps the whole crew get the job done.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 45.0 per week

Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Preferred) Oil & gas: 1 year (Preferred)
