Job Description

CDL-A Local Driver - Home Daily Join a steady account running throughout the Inland Empire and LA area, with trucks parked at our Bell Gardens yard. Enjoy a consistent 5-day work week with home time daily — no-touch assist loads and a healthy mix of preloads and live freight keep your week predictable. Pay & Compensation Hourly pay: $19.25/hour Stop pay: $18.71 per stop Average weekly earnings: $1,400-$1,800/week Average weekly mileage: 1,000-1,500 miles Home Time Home daily with a 10-hour break 5-day work week — extra work days optional Shifts available both day and night
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday Weekend work required; most major holidays off, with volunteers welcome for Thanksgiving/Christmas and an early shutdown around New Year's and Christmas Eve Freight & Routes Intermodal containers secured on chassis Runs across 5 ramps: Long Beach, Los Angeles, Commerce, City of Industry, and Bloomington Occasional runs north on the Grapevine through Shafter/Lebec Slip-seat account — trucks stay parked at the Bell Gardens yard between shifts No-touch assist loads Live load, live unload, preload, and drop-and-hook freight Requirements Valid CDL-A license, First Seat (experienced), 3-month minimum experience required No HAZMAT or additional endorsements required Must live within 15 miles of zip code 90201 Comfortable with auto-dispatch and variable routing — drivers do not choose their own loads Must be willing to run a full 11-hour drive, occasionally up to full 14-hour clock depending on freight demands Why Drive With Top Roadstar Transportation?
