This is an intermodal account serving the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area with daily home time. Pay Average weekly earnings of $1,400-$1,800 $19.25 per hour plus $18.71 per stop Weekly mileage typically ranges from 1,000 to 1,500 miles Weekly pay No bonus offered for this position Average weekly earnings are based on the current account information and are not guaranteed. Schedule and Home Time Home daily 5-day work week Night shift Extra workdays are optional Weekend work is available/expected Holiday schedule varies by year Job Duties Transport intermodal containers secured on chassis Live loads and live unloads Preloaded freight Drop and hook Operate throughout the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area Routes include ramps in Long Beach, Los Angeles, Commerce, City of Industry and Bloomington Some northbound deliveries and pickups are part of the account Automatic dispatch; drivers do not choose their routes Drivers may run up to their available driving hours depending on freight demand Requirements Valid CDL-A Minimum 6 months of tractor-trailer driving experience Experienced, first-seat drivers Company drivers only Trainees are not accepted Equipment and Freight Intermodal containers secured on chassis Live load Live unload Preload Drop and hook No-touch assist loads Slip-seat operation This position is based in Bell Gardens, California , and drivers must meet the stated local residency requirement.
