POSITION SUMMARY
Our Distribution Drivers play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of Catalyst's cannabis products to our retail locations. As the face of our distribution team in the field, they maintain a professional and positive image as a representative of our company while adhering to all safety guidelines and delivering exceptional service to our retail partners. During periods of downtime, drivers also support the packing and pulling of orders to contribute to the overall efficiency of our distribution operations.
OPERATIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operates company vehicles to deliver cannabis products to Catalyst retail locations Follows delivery routes and ensures on-time deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency Verifies product quantities and order accuracy before loading deliveries Represents Catalyst professionally at all retail locations, greeting store personnel courteously and maintaining positive working relationships Handles any delivery-related inquiries or concerns from retail locations promptly and professionally Escalates any delivery issues, product discrepancies, or concerns to the Distribution Manager in a timely and discreet manner Maintains accurate records of deliveries, ensuring all required documentation is complete Reports any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the Distribution Manager Contributes to and participates in monthly inventory counts, including counting all product in the warehouse and recording accurate numbers Assists in packing and pulling orders during periods of downtime to support the distribution team Collaborates with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment Follows all traffic and safety regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road Adheres to company guidelines for handling and transporting cannabis products securely Conducts routine checks and inspections of company vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition Reports any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel Communicates effectively with the distribution team and other drivers to coordinate delivery schedules
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
Considerable physical activity. May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs. Work is performed in both a vehicle and warehouse/distribution environment Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time Must be able to stand for at least 4 hours straight Must maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record at all times Comfortable working in variable outdoor and indoor environments, including temperature fluctuations Visual acuity required for safe driving and detailed inspections of product and documentation
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
