Summary/Objective Shag Driver's primary responsibilities include keeping yard clean, organizing trailers and trucks. One World Beef company is a physical, fast-paced, position that involves deliveries to California businesses, and handling of packages that typically weigh between 20 - 60 lbs. and may weigh up to 80 lbs. Shag Drivers must be able to follow directions and safety guidelines. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Operate a 53 ft. refrigerated delivery truck weighing up to 80,000 lbs. gross. 2. Clean and maintain delivery trucks (interior and exterior) daily. 3. Clean and keep the trailers clean before loading. 4. Monitor temperatures and if necessary, report any anomaly or mechanical fault code with your dispatch. 5. Clean washing area. 6. Pull trucks 7. Organize trailers. 8. Keep yard clean. 9. Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices. 10. Conduct and complete any other duties requested. Requirements 1. A 1. A Valid, regular Class A driver's license 2. 2. Knowledge of Southern California routes and cities Clean and safe DMV driving record Clean background check Ability to operate material handling equipment Ability to lift heavy products up to 80LBs Pass physical test At least 21 years of age Bilingual Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience Ability to operate a vehicle safely and in compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
