Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering automobile freight safely and efficiently across various routes. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will ensure timely deliveries, maintain compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, and uphold the highest standards of manual handling and truck driving excellence. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers with automobile freight on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or truck loading equipment, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times while adhering to route driving protocols. Transport automobile freight shipments with precision and care. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before departure. Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any incidents encountered on the road. Requirements Valid CDL A license over 2 years with a clean driving record.
