Job Description
Part Time activities assistant driver for wanted for 3 days/24 hours a week! Saturdays and Sundays 9:00am
- 6:00pm (1 hour duty free meal period) AND Mondays 8:30am
- 5:00pm (30 minute duty free meal period) Are you looking to work for a community that truly cares about you and your growth?
Responsibilities:
Assist the Activity Director in providing an interesting, creative, and rewarding social atmosphere throughout the community and promoting resident participation through regularly scheduled high-quality activities, excursions, special events, guest speakers, movie showings, exercise sessions, the establishment of clubs, games, art and creativity opportunities, educational classes and other such activities. Must be available to work some Holidays when events are scheduled. Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors. Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards. Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer one (1) year of experience in activities/driving with seniors Requires valid driver's license and a clean driving record Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including fingerprinting, health physical, drug test and TB test.
