Overview We are seeking a dedicated CDL Class A Truck Driver specializing in Reefer operations to join our team. This role involves safely transporting refrigerated goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of temperature-sensitive cargo. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL Class A license with at least two years of driving experience, including manual transmission operation. Duties Operate a Class A commercial truck with manual transmission to transport refrigerated freight over short and long distances. Safely load, secure, and unload reefer cargo, ensuring proper handling of temperature-sensitive items. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and other required records. Follow all federal and state transportation laws, safety protocols, and company policies. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and operational efficiency. Experience Valid CDL Class A license with at least two years of driving experience required. Experience operating manual transmission trucks is essential. Prior experience in refrigerated or reefer transport is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, DOT compliance, and best practices in freight handling. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
