Location Manager Position Summary Spend your season surrounded by volcanoes, alpine lakes, and endless trails! As a Shuttle Driver at Lassen Volcanic National Park , you'll play an important role in helping guests and employees get around safely while experiencing one of California's most unique and less-crowded national parks. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys driving, meeting people from all over, and working in a truly unforgettable outdoor setting. What You'll Do Safely and efficiently transport guests, employees, and equipment between company properties and designated shuttle stops within the Lassen area Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and assist guests with questions about shuttle routes, schedules, and park services Help create a welcoming, positive experience for visitors exploring Lassen's geothermal features and scenic landscapes Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs Keep shuttle vehicles clean, fueled, and in safe working condition; report maintenance concerns to management Follow all traffic laws and company driver safety policies Support team goals and assist with other duties as needed What We're Looking For Friendly, guest-focused attitude with strong communication skills Dependable team player with a strong commitment to safety Comfortable driving in mountain roads and changing weather conditions Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license required At least six (6) months of shuttle driving or passenger transportation experience preferred Why You'll Love This Job Live and work near Lassen Volcanic National Park , one of California's most unique national parks Easy access to hiking, geothermal areas, lakes, wildlife viewing, and stargazing Less crowded park experience with incredible scenery Meet guests and coworkers from around the country and world Be part of a tight-knit seasonal team in a spectacular setting Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other status protected by law.
