ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and updates in the ERP or inventory management system. Record receipts, transfers, adjustments, and returns of materials. Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Prepare inventory reports for supervisors, production planners, or management. Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts. Investigate and resolve inventory variances through root cause analysis. Support internal and external inventory audits as needed. Assist with receiving, storing, labeling, and organizing materials and finished goods. Ensure materials are issued accurately to production departments according to job orders. Maintain clean, orderly inventory storage areas following safety and 5S standards. Support inventory transfers between warehouse, production, and shipping/receiving. Work closely with production planners, purchasing, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure materials are available when needed. Communicate shortages, overages, and inventory risks promptly. Safely deliver products to customers on time and in excellent condition. Load, organize, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit. Plan delivery routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency, adjusting as needed for traffic or road conditions. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs. Follow all local, state, and federal transportation laws and safety regulations. Provide courteous and professional customer service at every delivery location.

SKIILS & COMPETENCIES

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to perform basic math and understand units of measure. Effective communication skills for working with production and warehouse teams. Ability to follow processes, work independently, and problem solve. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Required High school diploma or equivalent required. Desired 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing Forklift or material handling equipment experience may be beneficial.
