MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES
Safely transport equipment to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner. Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections. Follow all Mistras Operational Procedures and QC Standards. Adhere to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Maintain Truck Equipment/Inventory. Maintain the service and appearance of truck. Follow delivery/pickup instructions from management. Perform Shipping & Receiving duties as needed. Assist customers within the shop with loading and unloading product and tagging incoming orders. Moving orders to the various departments. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must hold a valid Driver's License. Training and certification in forklift preferred. Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Must have strong customer service orientation. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. Physical Requirements o Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment and tying and chaining down equipment o Frequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal/s on equipment and trucks o Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 90 lbs. o Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes
