Drive modern, well-maintained equipment on predictable regional routes with regular home time. Responsibilities include safe operation of Class A tractors, on-time pickups and deliveries, accurate logs using ELDs, and professional customer service. You'll work closely with dispatch, follow

Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on regional routes with frequent home time Transport freight for major shippers, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures Secure loads properly and verify documentation, including bills of lading Use in-cab technology and ELDs to log hours and communicate with dispatch Maintain accurate trip, fuel, and mileage records for each haul Provide professional, courteous service to customers at all delivery locations Coordinate with dispatch and operations to resolve delays or route changes Care for assigned equipment, keeping tractor and trailer clean and road-ready Required Skills CDL-A commercial driving Regional and short-haul operations DOT and FMCSA compliance Electronic logging devices (ELDs) Defensive driving and safety practices Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Freight loading and load securement Route planning and time management Customer service and communication Paperwork, bills of lading, and trip reports
