Via Transportation seeks safe, friendly drivers to operate on-demand rides in Sacramento. As an independent driver on the Via platform, you'll use our app to accept trips, pick up and drop off riders safely and on time, and provide a welcoming experience. You'll follow local traffic laws, maintain a clean, reliable vehicle, and communicate clearly with riders and support. Via offers flexible hours, a mission-driven team transforming public transit with technology, and a $100 bonus incentive for new drivers who meet trip and eligibility requirements on the Sacramento service. Responsibilities Safely transport passengers using the Via driver app for trip assignments and navigation Provide courteous, professional customer service to all riders Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and Via operating guidelines Maintain a clean, reliable, and properly insured vehicle Communicate with support teams regarding issues, delays, or incidents Accurately start, complete, and record trips within the app Adapt to changing routes and rider demand across Sacramento Required Skills Safe driving Navigation using GPS apps Customer service Time management Basic smartphone/app proficiency Knowledge of local Sacramento roads Vehicle safety checks Record keeping/ride logging Problem solving Basic communication
