Ready Mix Truck Driver Escondido, CA $27.00 - $36.00 Superior Ready Mix is a CalPortland Company The Ready-Mix Driver will be responsible for all duties of the position, including the transporting of freshly mixed concrete from the batch plant to the job site in a safe manner. This individual will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled. We are seeking a candidate with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and great customer service skills. ‍

The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from. ‍ responsibilites Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections Deliver ready-mix concreteto various job sites Operate a multi-axle mixer truck safely, obeying all traffic laws Clean and wash vehicle to include the removal of concrete build up on all exterior parts of the mixer Must be willing to work according to customer demands Operate a radio to communicate with company personnel Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, state, and federal regulations Responsible for reporting all incidents/injuries to management as soon as they occur Attend safety meetings as scheduled by management ‍ Salary Range. Education:
High School Diploma/GED ‍
Qualifications:
Must have current Commercial Class A or B driver's license with air brakes and tank endorsement Previous ready-mix driving experience required Safe driving record (will have to provide DMV H-6 printout) - no serious moving violations within the past 36 months; no more than two moving violations within the past 24 months Must have a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate Ability to read a map and understand verbal and GPS driving route instructions Must have familiarity with slumps Good attendance and punctuality a must Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, frequently lift extension chutes (up to 60 lbs.), stretch, drive/sit and shift gears Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends and nights, may be required ‍
Preferred:
Experience in ready-mix or heavy construction industries 2+ years of commercial driving experience ‍
Conditions of Employment:
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing. ‍ Apply now
