Job Overview Join our team as a Tow Truck Driver and become the essential link in vehicle recovery and roadside assistance! In this energetic role, you will operate various tow trucks, including flatbed and hook-and-chain models, to safely transport vehicles. Having working knowledge in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and safe vehicle handling will ensure every tow is executed efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently, including flatbed and traditional models, ensuring compliance with cargo securement protocols. Perform vehicle recovery towing, roadside assistance, and vehicle transport with precision and care. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle condition before towing. Load and unload vehicles securely onto tow trucks, adhering to safety standards for mechanical stability and cargo securement. Assist customers courteously by providing clear communication, support during stressful situations, and exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and incident reports for record-keeping purposes. Follow all safety procedures related to driving, cargo securement protocols, and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers to ensure a safe working environment. Open to on-call and after hours coverage as we are a 24hr operation. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred. AAA roadside experience a plus. Proven experience in automotive repair, minor mechanical vehicle repair, or automotive diagnostics is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor repairs. Hands-on experience with flatbed tow trucks or similar equipment; mechanic experience is a plus. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols to ensure safe transportation of vehicles. Ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations. Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, load/unload vehicles, and perform manual tasks as needed.

$19.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
