Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking 3 dedicated and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of vehicles, including roll-offs, flatbeds, possum bellies and end dumps. At least 2 years of experience is prefferred. Duties Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while considering factors such as road conditions and fuel efficiency. Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance. Skills Proven experience in route driving with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. Familiarity with various types of trucks including roll-offs, tankers, flatbeds, possum belly's and end dumps. Ability to load and unload cargo efficiently; experience operating a forklift is a plus. Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles as well as automatic ones. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards. Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, dispatchers, and team members.
