Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Local Agricultural Truck Driver with a strong background in 10-speed manual transmission trucks to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting agricultural freight within local routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Operate 10-speed manual transmission trucks for local agricultural deliveries. Safely load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely delivery across over-the-road (OTR) driving routes within local areas. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations to maintain vehicle safety and compliance. Load freight securely using logistics cargo handling techniques to prevent damage during transit. Drive tractor-trailers while adhering strictly to FMCSA regulations, hazard materials regulations, and DOT standards for safe commercial driving practices. Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and incident reports as required by company policies and regulatory agencies. Requirements Proven experience operating 10-speed manual transmission trucks in a commercial driving environment. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat) transportation if applicable. Strong understanding of
FMCSA, DOT
regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for truck driving. Experience with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient delivery execution.
