Job Description

Immediate Need•Home Every Day! Kendal Floral/Florexpo (the largest importer of fresh-cut floral products in the United States), is seeking Truck Drivers with Class A License in Gilroy, CA. SUMMARY Operate company vehicle to deliver product to store locations and pick up empty buckets and racks. Delivers product in a timely manner in order to meet store requirements and deadlines. Makes any additional pick-up and deliveries for the company as needed.

ESSENTIAL REPONSIBILITIES

Ensures equipment is in optimum operating condition. Accurately and safely loads truck according to invoices. Delivers, unloads and organizes racks in coolers. Performs necessary calculations and completes paperwork to ensure accurate and timely billing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Current Class A Driver License; clean driving record 1 year of verifiable driving experience with the safe operation of 24' or larger trucks. Delivery route experience Able to work any day of the week and start at early as 12:30am. Able to lift up 50lbs. overhead and maneuver loaded racks weighing over 500 lbs. up and down lift gates and ramps. Basic math skills and able to use calculator if necessary.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Ability to read maps/follows directions. Ability to count and verify quantity of pickups and deliveries. Ability to read reports and legibly record pickup and delivery information. •
