Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Class A Yard Driver / Warehouse Operator to safely move trailers and product within a busy warehouse and distribution yard. This position will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, accurately moving freight, and ensuring customer orders are prepared and fulfilled on time. The ideal candidate has strong warehouse experience, MHE operating experience, and a valid Class A driver's license. Schedule Tuesday-Saturday Must be flexible with varying shifts based on customer and buisness needs Overtime may be required based on operational demands Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 8 Yard Tractor to move trailers and equipment within the yard. Operate a stand-up reach truck, order picker, and sit-down forklift. Move product and freight safely and efficiently to meet daily service requirements. Receive and prepare products for delivery. Verify the accuracy of freight moving into and out of the warehouse. Ensure customer orders are handled accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company SOPs, safety procedures, and warehouse policies. Participate in required safety meetings. Utilize warehouse management systems and technology to complete daily tasks. Work closely with team members to maintain efficient warehouse operations. Manage multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience. Minimum 1 year of experience operating material handling equipment (MHE). Valid Class A driver's license required. Experience operating a yard tractor, forklift, reach truck, and order picker. Ability to safely operate MHE in a busy warehouse environment. Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as Synapse, preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to regularly sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday. Ability to reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds . Ability to work in a warehouse/distribution environment with MHE operations. Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures. Moderate to noisy work environment. #SAN123
Pay:
$28.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
