Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. Candidates with experience in operating various types of trucks, including flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks, are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Operate and drive different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight while securing cargo properly. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes taken, and hours worked. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Operate forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading materials. Perform route driving efficiently to meet delivery deadlines. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Proficiency in operating various types of trucks including flatbed, dump truck, roll-off truck, and tractor-trailer. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in freight transportation is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools is a plus.
