Voigt Inc. DBA Smitty's Towing is accepting applications for Tow Truck Drivers. We are looking for full-time Tow Truck Drivers/Operators who are energetic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented. No previous direct towing experience is required . A background in roadside assistance, or experience loading and unloading a flatbed truck, or tractor-trailer is a plus. Requirements To drive with us you: Must be 22 years of age, or older Must meet auto insurance requirements Must have a valid California Driver License Must pass a background check Must pass law enforcement Live Scan (fingerprint) background check

• 365 days a year Duties and Responsibilities Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and can manage their time well while on the road.

Some job duties include but are not limited to: Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents Assist disabled motorists with services such as changing their tires Stay in contact with motorists when you are enroute Safely load cars onto the back of your truck Keep your truck clean and in good condition Pre-inspect and post-inspect tow truck Tow cars that have a parking or other illegal infractions Qualifications Ability to handle a physical workload (kneeling, crawling, bending, lifting, etc.) Able to lift 50 lbs. or more Strong physical strength, stamina and endurance Good judgment, problem-solving skills and common sense Strong work ethic and ability to make good decisions under pressure Safety-conscious Clean driving record Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills Attention to detail when documenting services, vehicle conditions and work performed Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays This job is ideal for someone who is: Dependable Adaptable/flexible Detail-oriented High stress tolerance Customer service focused Safety conscious Compensation We offer hourly and incentive pay in a variety of working environments to increase your unlimited earning potential! $18.00
