Job Overview Drive the Future of Port Transportation with XGPS Transport! XGPS Transport Inc. is hiring experienced Class A CDL Port Drivers to operate our next-generation electric Class 8 heavy-duty trucks in the Los Angeles and Long Beach Port area. This is a local, home-daily position focused on container drayage between the LA/Long Beach Ports, warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations. You will be driving a modern electric heavy-duty truck — not a traditional diesel truck. We are looking for reliable, safety-focused Class A CDL drivers who are interested in working with zero-emission electric truck technology and becoming part of the future of American freight transportation. Port/drayage experience is preferred, but we are also interested in experienced Class A CDL drivers who are ready to learn and operate electric heavy-duty equipment. Responsibilities Safely operate a battery-electric Class 8 heavy-duty truck Pick up and deliver containers at the Los Angeles and Long Beach Ports Transport containers between port terminals, warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations Follow port appointments and delivery schedules Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Monitor vehicle charging and battery status according to company procedures Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, appointments, charging, delays, and deliveries Maintain required driving and delivery records Follow all applicable DOT, FMCSA, company, and port safety requirements Operate the electric truck safely and efficiently Requirements Valid Class A CDL Safe driving record Port, drayage, intermodal, or container experience preferred TWIC card preferred/required for port access Comfortable learning and operating electric Class 8 trucks Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Safety-focused attitude Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch Must meet applicable DOT and company requirements Why Drive with XGPS?
