50 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Qualifications CDL B Active listening In-person customer service Working with seniors High school diploma or GED Driver's License Older adults Direct support Full Job Description Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Drivers Wanted Gold Mountain Transport, LLC is a non-emergency medical transportation provider serving the assisted transportation needs of seniors and those with mobility challenges throughout Placer, Sacramento and surrounding counties. Destinations include area medical centers, hospital campuses, rehabilitation and skilled care facilities, and more. Driver(s) will be charged with providing direct assistance to ambulatory, wheelchair and gurney patients during evening, early morning, and weekend hours. This is a W2 hourly opportunity with the possibility for advancement, increased roles and responsibilities, and increased compensation. The company will provide necessary training, vehicles, and equipment.
Required Skills:
  • Maintain a helpful and courteous attitude ideally suited for senior clientele.
  • Must be available for early morning, evening, and weekend trips.
  • Willingness to perform local trips in addition to out-of-area transports.
  • Ability to listen and follow company and facility instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Willingness to support and contribute as necessary to our company's overall mission. Various daily tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections.
  • Safely transport and assist patients to their appointments in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and inform company management of daily activities and outcomes. Various requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Must be 23 years of age or older.
  • Possess valid California driver's license.
  • Have a minimum high school diploma or GED.
  • Pass background check and drug screening and motor vehicle record.
