We are in need of drivers with Flatbed or Lowboy transportation experience that can help with large equipment moves. When not doing flatbed work we can keep you busy with End-Dump or any one of our busy divisions. This position requires expertise in securing loads, operating specialized trailers, lowboys & RGN's and complying with all applicable transportation laws and regulations. Schedule We have all shifts open for this role, but weekend availability is HIGHLY preferred. Duties Operate tractor-trailers, and specialized heavy-haul equipment (Lowboy, RGN, Step Deck, Double Drop, Multi-Axle). Load, unload, and secure heavy equipment, machinery, and oversized freight using chains, binders, and straps per DOT regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment and loads meet safety and legal standards. Plan and execute safe and efficient routes, taking into account weight restrictions, bridge laws, and state-specific regulations. Adhere to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Ensure all transport activities are conducted safely, preventing injury to oneself, coworkers, or the public. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers, project managers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries. Keep trucks and trailers clean, organized, and in good working condition. Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including local hauls, regional trips, and over-the-road (OTR) assignments. Adapt to last-minute changes in routes, load assignments, and schedules. Experience Minimum 2 years of Class A experience Focus on safety is a must! 18 Speed experience highly preferred Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record. Must be at least 23 years of age. Proficiency in operating Lowboy, RGN, Multi-Axle, Step Deck, and Double Drop trailers a plus. Knowledge of DOT and state-specific regulations. Experience in route planning and obtaining oversized load permits. Ability to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug test, and background check.
