Job Description
Clean Harbors seeks a safety-focused Class A Dry Van Driver for OTR routes supporting environmental and industrial services. In this role, you'll operate late-model Class A equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials between customer sites and Clean Harbors facilities. Responsibilities include compliant OTR driving, accurate manifests and logs, pre/post-trip inspections, and professional customer interactions. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A dry van tractor-trailers on long-haul OTR routes following DOT and Clean Harbors safety standards Transport environmental and industrial materials and waste between customer sites, facilities, and transfer locations Complete required logs, manifests, and electronic documentation accurately and on time Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company policies Coordinate with dispatch and operations for routing, scheduling, and on-time deliveries and pickups Ensure proper securement, handling, and care of hazardous and non-hazardous loads as required Provide professional customer service at client sites and represent Clean Harbors' safety-first culture Required Skills Class A CDL driving OTR/long-haul trucking Hazardous materials handling DOT regulations compliance Electronic logging devices (ELD) Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Load securement Tanker/dry van operations Trip planning and time management Defensive driving
