Key Responsibilities:

Driving:

Driving a box truck to designated locations, following routes and schedules.

Delivery:

Delivering or picking up items as instructed, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Loading/Unloading:

Loading and unloading cargo, often using equipment like pallet jacks.

Documentation:

Documenting deliveries, maintaining logs, and preparing paperwork.

Safety:

Adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations.

Maintenance:

Maintaining the cleanliness of the truck and reporting any issues.

Communication:

Communicating with dispatchers and customers.

Requirements:

Valid Driver's License:

A valid driver's license is typically required, although a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not always necessary for box truck driving.

DOT Medical Card:

A DOT medical card may be required.

Clean Driving Record:

A clean driving record is essential.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to lift and handle packages and other materials.

Communication Skills:

Proficiency in English for communication with dispatchers and customers.

Experience:
