Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Drive assigned routes to deliver products efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals at retail stores and customer locations. Take and process customer orders accurately at PNP (Pick, Pack, and Pay) stations or retail outlets, upselling where appropriate to enhance sales opportunities. Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing products on shelves and ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked. Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication, professional service, and attentive client communication. Perform heavy lifting of merchandise, following safe lifting practices to prevent injury and ensure proper handling of goods. Maintain detailed route logs, delivery documentation, and inventory records while organizing daily tasks for maximum efficiency. Skills Excellent driving skills with experience in commercial truck driving and automobile transportation. Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, sales techniques, and upselling methods to maximize revenue opportunities. Proficient in basic math for accurate order taking, pricing calculations, and route planning. Exceptional communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination. Solid organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries, route schedules, and merchandising tasks efficiently. Familiarity with retail store environments and merchandising standards. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout the workday. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and transportation safety standards.
