Schedule :
Monday•Friday:
Shifts typically begin between 1:00 AM and 4:00 AM, with an expected duration of 10 to 12 hours. What You'll Do As a CDL Driver / MPU Operator, you will operate auxiliary equipment and assist in the loading, mixing, unloading, preparation and tying in of explosive products on customer sites. You will be responsible for assisting in warehouse / magazine management and in the maintenance of all site equipment.Other duties include:
Proactively manage risks and safety issues Operate auxiliary equipment in support of blasting operations, including forklifts, winches, and hand tools to provide timely, safe, and high-quality product and service to the customer. Assist in the loading and shoveling of blast patterns and projects Operate heavy equipment and MMU's as needed. Complete and report pre and post use reports for all equipment that is operated. Report required maintenance of any equipment required to assure its reliability and safe operation. Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions in shop, while operating equipment, and while on blast sites to protect personal safety and the safety of others. Maintain safe working procedures at any site that you are dispatched to. Report all incidents and hazardous conditions to appropriate supervisors. This role involves spending approximately 50% of the time outdoors loading and unloading products and 50% delivering orders to customers.What We're Looking For:
Class A CDL required HAZMAT endorsement required- tanker endorsement is helpful No preventable accidents and no more than (1) minor moving violation in the past (3) years No convictions for
DUI, DWI
last 10 years Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives Ability to read, write, and speak English, and to communicate in writing and verbally Must be able to work early mornings (start time expected to be between 1 AM- 4 AM) working 10
