Looking for someone who is:

Use GPS navigation systems to plan and follow efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards. Load and unload cargo with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring secure placement in compliance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking load security, trailer conditions, and safety equipment. Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records as required by DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any route or cargo issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or freight transportation with a focus on truck loading/unloading operations. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tractor-trailers or box trucks. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols related to truck driving. Ability to operate GPS navigation systems confidently for route planning and real-time adjustments. Strong manual handling skills for load & unload tasks while maintaining safety standards. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws on route driving assignments.
Pay:
$1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
