Job Description

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Van Driver-Class A to support our environmental and industrial services across North America. In this role, you will safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on long-haul routes, transporting hazardous and non-hazardous materials while upholding our safety-first culture. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, secure loading, maintaining DOT-compliant logs, and following spill-response procedures. Responsibilities Operate Class A tractor-trailer to transport materials safely on OTR van routes Ensure compliance with DOT, company, and environmental safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document vehicle condition Secure, load, and unload freight and hazardous/non-hazardous materials as required Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and delivery documentation Communicate with dispatch to coordinate routes, schedules, and delivery updates Follow spill-response and emergency protocols when necessary Represent Clean Harbors professionally with customers and the public Required Skills Class A CDL operation Long-haul/OTR driving DOT regulations compliance Hazardous materials handling Vehicle inspection and maintenance Electronic logging systems (ELDs) Freight loading and securement Route planning and trip planning Spill and emergency response basics Documentation and manifest management
