Job Description

Overview EIKM Transportation LLC is a small, family-owned trucking company based in Newman, CA. We are looking for a dependable and experienced Class A CDL driver to join our team for OTR driving. As a small family-owned company, we value reliability, communication, and safety. We are looking for a dependable driver who is interested in consistent OTR miles and a steady work schedule. Pay & Schedule $ 0.50 -$ 0.55 per mile, depending on experience ALL miles are paid - loaded AND empty/deadhead Approximately 2,700-3,200 paid miles per week , depending on freight Paid weekly Typically 1-2 weeks OTR , with trips occasionally extending up to 15 days depending on freight and routing. Fuel card provided Company pays tolls and truck-related expenses Safety equipment provided Responsibilities Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer on OTR routes Pick up and deliver freight safely and on time Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Properly maintain ELD/logbook records and comply with Hours of Service requirements Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA safety regulations Maintain communication regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, truck issues, and other important updates Promptly report mechanical or safety concerns Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with safe driving record. Prior tractor-trailer driving experience; OTR experience preferred Must meet DOT driver qualification requirements, including required drug testing and Clearinghouse query Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently Must be able to properly use an ELD and comply with Hours of Service requirements Dependable and safety-conscious Good communication skills Comfortable staying OTR for approximately 1-2 weeks at a time. Truck yard is based at our yard in Gustine, California We are looking for a driver interested in consistent OTR miles, straightforward weekly pay, and reliable communication. Position available immediately.
Pay:
$0.50 - $0.55 per mile
