OT Pay Rate:
$25.00 Responsibilities Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers, including flatbed configurations, on diverse routes such as OTR and local delivery routes Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly on flatbeds or tanker trailers as required Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimized routes while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in accordance with hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols Manage automobile transportation tasks, including loading, securing, and delivering vehicles when necessary Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking for compliance with hazardous materials regulations and truck safety standards Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, cargo handling logs, and compliance records in line with logistics procedures Qualifications Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with flatbed Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and hazardous materials regulations (hazmat) certification preferred Experience in load & unload operations, truck loading/unloading, and freight handling techniques Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution Ability to operate manual transmission trucks safely and efficiently Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling, route driving, and delivery driving procedures Excellent manual handling skills for safe loading/unloading of freight and cargo securing on flatbeds or tanker trailers Join us as a vital part of our team dedicated to delivering excellence on every route!
