Chawanakee Unified serves students in transitional kindergarten (TK) through 12th grade. The district operates seven schools and provides a comprehensive range of college and career readiness opportunities designed to support student success. Job Summary Job Summary The Driver I is responsible for safely transporting students and food to various District locations using assigned school vehicles and designated routes. This position performs daily vehicle safety inspections, follows all applicable laws and District policies, maintains appropriate student behavior and safety while transporting students, and completes required records and reports. The Driver I works collaboratively with staff, students, families, and the public while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and responsible vehicle operation.
