The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations. The Truck Driver will operate various types of trucks, including flatbed, refrigerated trailers, and tankers, ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Duties Operate trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes, including flatbed and refrigerated trailer transport. Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays encountered during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or issues that arise during transportation. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road. Assist in training new drivers on safe driving practices and company protocols as needed. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with flatbed, refrigerated trailers, or tankers preferred. Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and freight handling procedures. Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo safely. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and team members. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety regulations in commercial driving. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
